Since his first record he ever bought, "No Silence" - ATB, Ignotus (Alex Henkens) has been achieving his own recognizable sound with Trance and Progressive. It started as a hobby when he hit 15 years old, on his birthday he got his first mixing device, it was nothing big, but a start. Dance music was something that had just started to arise in his life, with all of his friends still listening to hip-hop and R&B, Ignotus stood out from the norm, and started on his own musical path. From his first gig in Sacramento, at a club called "Faces" to his numerous underground gigs, Ignotus finally felt like he found the one thing that he can achieve at by himself, and only himself. Since his move to Sacramento to complete his college education; Ignotus has made quite a name for himself. He has partners and clients calling him for bookings across the northwest, in cities such as, Sacramento, Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, San Diego and even as far out as Las Vegas. Now he comes to feature himself up in the emerald city of Seattle, Washington. With his time in Sacramento, Ignotus teamed up with one of San Francisco’s hottest night club DJ’s. “DJ-X”. Together they created remixes of very well known artists such as, 4-Strings, TyDi, Andy Bluemann, and much, much more. After their year of collaboration work, sadly Ignotus was done with his college, and decided to move back to his hometown. Although along the way with meeting DJ-X, he got to also collaborate with other DJ’s such as: DJ DRC, Donald Glaude, Frankie Bones, DJ Jon-E-Qwest, DJ Reza, and many other LA locals. Recently after moving back to Washington, Ignotus decided to get involved into the underground EDM scene, and became known as a Portland Starcatcher. Soon after helping them with lighting and sound, he spread to a more local base, and decided to accept the invitation from the local Tap Tap Productions. Much will be in store as Ignotus once again will climb the ladder of recognition, and hopes you will follow.
